My name is Michelle. I'm a recent college grad who loves to write, read, and take pictures. I'm not very good at drawing, but I do enjoy doing it every once in a while (mostly doodling silly little comics). I tend to make funny faces when I draw faces. I also tend to make funny faces when I take pictures. One day, my literature will be published, and it shall be awesome. Since I was a kid, I've been a musician (piano and clarinet). For the past nine years, I've been a vegetarian. I think way too much for my own good, but it's what keeps me going. I love symbolism, and will go out of my way to find it -- even if it's not necessarily there. So, this is my deviantART. Enjoy!

Hey, all!
Guess who's baaaaccck!
It's been a long, long time. (I probably make mention of that every time I come back, huh? lol)
So, as always, a whole lot has changed in this past year. And with the few new pictures I've just uploaded, you may have noticed I've gotten a new camera! It's a beautiful Canon XSi, and the general busyness over the past several months has left me with little time to test it out, but these are a few shots I was able to actually take while I found some time to do so. I'm hoping to experiment a bit more in the coming months, so keep an eye out for more photos as I figure out how to use this new device.

Yikes! It's been a long time, huh?
Well, a lot has happened over the past few months! I just turned 21 earlier this month. I bought a new car (with some help from my family). I got my own Xbox (and it's red-ringed twice in the past couple months!). I'm in my senior year of college. And I've just had an interview for an internship with my dream company!
The car set me back a lot for a DSLR, unfortunately. (Though, the car is amazing.) I've still got my handy point-and-shoot, though.
I guess I should start digging up some updates for my DeviantArt and my Flickr accounts. *cracks knuckles* Let's get to work!

A Happily Ever After: A Tragic Epic

I want a Canon Rebel XSi.
There. I said it.
As I'm sure I've mentioned, I currently use a Canon Powershot SD750. It is an awesome point-and-shoot that I invested in about two years ago, and it has served me well these past few years.
However, I've been pursuing something different for the past year -- a Canon Rebel XTi.
To spare the long story, the XTi isn't being sold anymore. I've been avoiding eBay, Amazon, and other online companies (unless I am given no other choice). In addition to that, most of the available outlets for this DSLR are more expensive than I expected to pay, which led me to other options.
Other options = Canon Rebel
